Ever heard people put down the Bible, or Genesis, with the talking point "it's not a science book"?
"Science" is just the physical law mechanisms whereby God keeps His creation functioning since the creation
BTW- Darwinian macro-evolution isn't "science"--for to be "science" it would have to be observable, testable & repeatable. This kind of evolution has NEVER been observed, therefore hasn't ever been tested, hence the tests can't be repeated.
