Christendom today Throws out the Bread......Here's how---

OLD COVENANT:
Wine: Blood of Sacrificial Lambs
Bread: Word of God/Law written on 2 tables of stone
NEW COVENANT:
Wine: Blood of Christ
Bread: Word of God/Law written on the hearts
Most Christians want the WINE of Grace/Justification but THROW OUT the BREAD of His Word/ Law of Obedience/Sanctification (especially when violating the 4th Commandment)....the BREAD & WINE go hand in hand. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead,.. James 2:17
P.S.- Yes the Bread represents His body that was broken, but He also tells us Bread represents His Word, a dual application here.
