HE Knows

Then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive,

and render unto every man according unto all his ways,

whose heart thou knowest;

for thou only knowest the hearts of the children of men.

"Eight times in Solomon’s prayer at the dedication of the temple, he beseeches God to “hear from heaven” (vv. 21, 23, 25, 27, 30, 33, 35, 39).

It is marvelous that God, whose “dwelling place” is in heaven (vv. 21, 30, 33, 39) can actually hear the prayers of people here on Earth,....Even more marvelous is the fact that He can hear prayers uttered only in our hearts. Thou understandest my thought afar off. Psalm 139:2.
