Among the Candlesticks

And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man,... The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
Revelation 1:13,20

CHRIST is walking among the Candlesticks...His church down through history...doing His ministry as the High Priest...keeping them lit...culminating in the 7th Church--Laodicea*...when He then enters into the Most Holy Place for the Judgment...

Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.
He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.
Leviticus 24:2-3

* Laodicea is the name of a city in Asia Minor that wasn't too far from Colosse. The name of the city is a compound Greek word: laos means people, nation, or crowd; dike means custom, law, judgment, penalty, or punishment, depending on the context. From that, most conclude that the founders of Laodicea saw themselves as a people of justice or law-abiding people. LVCoC
The name Laodicea is etymologically derived from two Greek words, laos meaning "people," and dike meaning "to judge" or "to decide." This name became particularly appropriate for the citizens of Laodicea, since they seem to have been quite interested in self-determination and self-rule and deciding for themselves. CIY
The message is from the Amen—the One in whom there is no lie, the Creator. The word "beginning" is translated from the Greek arche, which, when taken in the active sense, means the initiator of the action, in this case Creation. In this introduction is concealed all the majesty of Christ, His character, and His law. The memorial of His Creation is the Sabbath, which is also the seal of God making the law of God valid. The message to Laodicea is to His people, the remnant of those who obey God's commandments and hold the testimony of Jesus. Read more about the Remnant." AmazingDiscoveries
