Isaiah 24:5 Series: Breaking the Everlasting Covenant

..broken the everlasting covenant.
Isaiah 24:5

Q: What is HIS Covenant?
A: And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
Deuteronomy 4:13

It has 2 aspects:
1) The Legal side (Sanctification/Obedience)
2) The Sacrificial side (Justification/Grace)

This Inverse Relationship of the Everlasting Covenant:

Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep,
(Sacrificial side) through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
(Legal side) Make you perfect in every good work to do his will,
working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight,
through Jesus Christ;
Hebrews 13:20,21

For this is the covenant that I will make

with the house of Israel after those days,

 saith the Lord;

(Legal side) I will put my laws into their mind,

and write them in their hearts: ....

(Sacrificial side) ..For I will be merciful

 to their unrighteousness,

and their sins and their iniquities

 will I remember no more.

Hebrews 8:10,12

(Sacrifical side / JUSTIFICATION)

For by grace are ye saved through faith;

and that not of yourselves:

it is the gift of God:

(Legal side / SANCTIFICATION)

For we are his workmanship,

 created in Christ Jesus unto good works,

which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:8,10

 

Q: What is Breaking the Everlasting Covenant?

A: COUNTERFEIT SALVATION

This EVERLASTING COVENANT is BROKEN by Christians who think like the following--

For by grace are ye saved through faith;

and that not of yourselves:

it is the gift of God: ..

"So we don't have to keep the "Law", especially the Sabbath Commandment".
