NOTE: Like the 3 & a half years {1260 days on Jewish calendar}of famine in the land in the days of Elijah, due to drought, -- so too in the Panorama of the GREAT CONTROVERSY there was 3 & a half years of famine for the Word of God {1260 days -or- times, time & dividing of time -or- 42 months, which is 3 & a half years-- all prophesied as such for a time prophecy of Papal rule during the middle ages} before the final showdown--like at Mt. Carmel---but this time at spiritual Armageddon.
....and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.......And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; ....Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
