IN the NEWS - Halloween Poll 2015

"The majority of Americans have no problem celebrating
Halloween, though there’s a substantial portion of the country that refrains or holds back from certain facets, according to a new poll found.
When asked how they approach the pagan elements surrounding Halloween — a holiday that has grown in popularity since Irish immigrants brought their customs to the U.S. in the 1840s — 59 percent of respondents said “it’s all in good fun,” but not everyone was on board.

While 71 percent of Catholics said that it is “all in good fun,” that proportion is at only 45 percent among evangelicals; a total of 51 percent of evangelicals either avoid the holiday entirely or look past the pagan elements." TheBlaze

When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee,
thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
There shall not be found among you any one that...
..... useth divination, or an observer of times,
or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer,
or a consulter with familiar spirits,
or a wizard, or a necromancer.
For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD:

10 Differences between ROME & the REFORMATION

Ten Differences Between the Reformation and Rome

And they that understand among the people shall instruct many:
yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
Daniel 11:33
1. The Roman Catholic Church believes that its traditions and teaching are as authoritative as Scripture.
The Reformed value tradition, but accept the Bible alone as their authority, and sole rule of faith and practice.
2. The Roman Catholic Church believes that the Pope, as successor of Peter and Bishop of Rome, is head of the visible Church.
The Reformed believe that Christ alone is head of the Church and that no man may claim universal primacy over the people of God.
3. The Roman Catholic Church believes that the Bible cannot be properly understood apart from the official interpretation of Rome (the Magisterium).
The Reformed believe that Christians have a responsibility to judge the truth of all teaching by the extent of its conformity to the teaching of the Bible as it has been commonly accepted with the help of responsible exegesis and the witness of the Spirit.
4. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that we are justified by baptism and that justification must be supplemented and improved by works.
The Reformed hold that the Bible teaches that justification is God's declaration that a sinner is righteous in his sight.....
5. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that the Lord's Supper is a re-offering of the sacrifice of Christ and that the bread and wine are actually changed into the body and blood of the Savior.
The Reformed hold that that in Scripture the Lord's Supper is a fellowship meal that is to be kept by believers in remembrance of the finished work of Christ. The bread and wine are significant symbols
to believers of Christ's body and blood.
6. The Roman Catholic Church regards its ministers as priests. They re-offer the sacrifice of Christ at the Mass and act as mediators between God and the faithful, taking Christ's role.
The Reformed teach that all Christians are priests, who offer a sacrifice of praise and worship to the Lord. Some, called to be teachers and pastors, are ministers of the Word. Their task is to give themselves to prayer, the preaching of the gospel, and to care for the flock.
7. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that after death the souls of departed believers who have not made sufficient satisfaction for their sins in their lifetime go to purgatory in order to do that prior to going to heaven. The living can affect how long the departed have to spend in purgatory by observing Mass, obtaining indulgences, and praying for them.
The Reformed hold that purgatory is not taught in Scripture.
8. The Roman Catholic Church believes that Mary can be invoked as mediatrix with Christ and that the faithful should pray to her and show devotion to her. Rome also teaches that believers should pray for themselves and for the dead to the faithful departed whom the Pope has designated as saints.
The Reformed honor Mary as the mother of our Lord and see her as an example of obedience and love to God. They maintain that there is only one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, and that, despite the protestations of Rome, its teaching takes away from the sole mediatorship of Christ. Prayer and worship is to be offered to God through him alone.
9. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that there are seven sacraments and that these sacraments work ex opere operato, effectively conveying grace to those who receive them. For example, baptism regenerates and justifies, and participants in the Mass actually feed on the body and drink the blood of Christ.
The Reformed find only two sacraments or ordinances in Scripture, baptism and the Lord's Supper. These are means of grace that are only effective when received by faith.
10. The Roman Catholic Church regards herself as the one true Church through the apostolic succession of her bishops. Non-Roman Catholic Christians are regarded as 'separated brethren' who have schismatically divided the body of Christ. Reformed ministers are not truly ordained to the apostolic ministry.
The Reformed define the Church not institutionally, but as a company of believing, godly people where the gospel is truly preached, baptism and the Lord's Supper rightly administered and Church discipline graciously applied. The true apostolic succession consists not in the physical laying on of hands as understood by Rome, but in believing and preaching the gospel proclaimed by the apostles and recorded in Scripture.

Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?  KJV

{Whether a lion shall roar in a forest, no but he have prey? Whether the whelp of a lion shall give voice from his den, no but he take anything?} Wycliffe's Bible

Will a lion roar - Should I threaten such a judgment without cause?

Will a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey in view? No: he roars upon his prey. Nor will a young lion cry out of his den if the old lion have taken nothing to bring home to him; nor would God thus give you warning both by the threatenings of his word, and by less judgments, if you had not by your sins made yourselves a prey to his wrath, nor if he were not really about to fall upon you with desolating destroying judgments.”

":.... that discusses the molecular clock hypothesis and its relation to the Recent African Origins hypothesis....
My arguments in the article above are mainly for Mitochondrial Eve, but they apply just as well for Y-chromosome Adam. If the molecular clock is not valid, the root cannot
be placed anywhere on the tree with confidence. This is a critical point and should answer your question.
The fact that some Africans (not all!) are very different from other people in the world (including other Africans) indicates to me that, rather than being part of the most ancient human population, they probably had different demographic history than other world populations (a population broken up into many small tribal groups is but one possible factor) and this led to extreme genetic divergence." When YOU Have Neglected the Mercy-Seat, God Has Not Deserted It,...

Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer.
Psalm 66:20

"In looking back upon the character of our prayers,
if we do it honestly,
we shall be filled with wonder that God has ever answered them.

There may be some who think their prayers are worthy of acceptance—as the Pharisee did;
but the true Christian, in a more enlightened retrospect, weeps over his prayers.
And if he could retrace his steps he would desire to pray more earnestly.

Remember, Christian, how cold your prayers have been.
When in your closet you should have wrestled as Jacob did;
but instead, your petitions have been faint and few-far removed from that humble, believing, persevering faith, which cries, “I will not let Thee go except Thou bless me.” Yet, wonderful to say, God has heard these cold prayers of yours, and not only heard, but answered them.

Reflect also, how infrequent have been your prayers,
unless you have been in trouble,
in which case you have gone often to the mercy-seat
When you have neglected the mercy-seat
God has not deserted it,
but the bright light of the Shekinah has always
been visible between the wings of the cherubim.

What a God is He to hear the prayers of those who come to Him when they have pressing wants, but neglect Him when they have received a mercy; who approach Him when they are forced to come, but who almost forget to address Him when mercies are plentiful and sorrows are few."

AMOS Analysis 3:3

3:3

Can two walk together, except they be agreed? KJV

{Whether twain shall go together, no but it accord to them?} Wycliffe's Bible

Can two walk together - While ye loved and served me, I dwelt in you and walked among you. Now ye are become alienated from me, your nature and mine are totally opposite. I am holy, ye are unholy.  I can no longer hold communion with you. I must cast you out.
Where there is not friendship there can be no fellowship; if two persons be at variance, they must first accommodate the matters in difference between them before there can be any interchanging of good offices. Israel has affronted God, had broken their covenant with him, and ill-requited his favours to them; and yet they expected that he should continue to walk with them,

Creation Moment 10/30/2015 - Soft Tissue Issue

"Gleanings from the original paper show discoverers excited but surprised. Creationists are excited and gratified.
Yesterday’s announcement of dinosaur soft tissue by scientists from Imperial College London sets a new high hurdle for critics. It’s not really news, since soft tissue in dinosaur bones has been reported for over a decade now.  This new paper, however, is noteworthy in many respects that will challenge naysayers:
  1. The team used ordinary, common bones from museum specimens.Models proposed to account for such preservation indicate that it should be the exception rather than the rule,” they noted. “.…Here, we examined eight dinosaur bones from the Cretaceous period, none of which are exceptionally preserved.
  2. The outside of the bones gave no hint of what was inside.Incredibly, none of the samples
showed external indicators of exceptional preservation and this strongly suggests that the preservation of soft tissues and even proteins is a more common phenomenon than previously accepted
    .”
  3. The bones they sampled came from both major classes of dinosaurs.Specimens representing both major dinosaurian clades (Ornithischia [bird-hipped] and Saurischia [lizard-hipped]) and different osteological elements were chosen.”
  4. The bones came from different parts of the anatomy.…an ungual claw of an indeterminate theropod dinosaur…”, “… a hadrosaurid tibia,” “an astragalus of a hadrosaurid” and others.
  5. The team took great pains to prevent contamination. “The sections were obtained from the interior of each sample, ruling out modern surface contamination.” Again, “this method rules out the possibility of modern contamination, as the surface exposed is inaccessible to any contaminant.
  6. The team used multiple methods for observation: SEM, TEM, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and focused ion beam (FIB) mass spectrometry.  “These results show that to determine the presence of soft tissue in fossils a new synergistic approach needs to be applied where micro/nano-analytical methods are utilized to their full potential.”
  7. They used controls by running the same tests with rabbit bone, another bone lacking the fibers, emu blood and a copper grid. “Sections were obtained from an agglomeration of erythrocyte-like structures and cement surrounding these from specimen NHMUK R12562, fixed emu blood, three fossils showing calcified fibres (NHMUK R4493, NHMUK R4249, NHMUK R4864), rabbit bone and a fossil not presenting sign of calcified fibres (NHMUK R12562). As a control, a mass spectrum from the copper grid holding the samples was also obtained.”
  8. Six of the eight samples contained soft tissue. .…in this study, putative soft tissue (either erythrocyte-like structures, collagen-like, fibrous structures or amorphous carbon-rich structures (Supplementary Fig. 7)) was observed in six of our eight dinosaur specimens (Supplementary Table 1).
  9. Two distinct kinds of soft tissue were reported: collagen and red blood cells. “In one sample, we observe structures consistent with endogenous collagen fibre remains .… Furthermore, we observe structures consistent with putative erythrocyte remains that exhibit mass spectra similar to emu whole blood.
  10. The collagen structure had not degraded; it still displayed the quaternary structure characteristic of collagen’s triple-helix configuration. “One sample (NHMUK R4493) also showed, for the first time in a dinosaur bone, a clear ~67 nm banding, that is typical of the banding observed in collagen (Fig. 3e), for the length of the preserved fibre.” The fibers are obvious from the electron micrographs shown in the paper and the popular news.
  11. Amino acids were detected that are characteristic of collagen: “The positive mass spectrum obtained from NHMUK R4493 showed peaks corresponding to fragments of the amino acids glycine, alanine, proline and others.… Detection of fragments of the amino acids normally found in collagen supports the results obtained from TEM analysis where the ~67 nm banding is consistent with potential preservation of the original quaternary structure of the protein.”
  12. Blood cells were found. Though shrunken in size, this confirms Schweitzer’s original claim of finding blood cells. “The spectra obtained from four different regions of the dinosaur bone containing erythrocyte-like structures are surprisingly similar to the spectra obtained from emu blood.” Why would the dinosaur cells be smaller? “Within the dinosaur samples on average, the erythrocyte-like structures are ~2 μm in length. This is somewhat smaller than erythrocytes of birds, which range from 9 to 15 μm in length; emu blood cells in our sample were 9±2 μm (n=17). The structures consistent with putative erythrocytes in the fossil could well have been deformed and it is quite probable that these structures have undergone some shrinkage during fossilization.”
Another standout feature of this paper is the undercurrent of emotion." CEH

SDA News - Adventism a Campaign Topic

And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you:
2 Samuel 2:6
"Ben Carson's faith as a Seventh-day Adventist came under fire at a Donald Trump rally on Saturday when the billionaire suggested his Presbyterian faith was superior.

Having recently slipped behind Carson in the Iowa polls, Trump told a crowd in Florida, "I love Iowa. And, look, I don't have to say it, I'm Presbyterian. Can you believe it? Nobody believes I'm Presbyterian. I'm Presbyterian. I'm Presbyterian. I'm Presbyterian . . . Boy, that's down the middle of the road folks, in all fairness. I mean, Seventh-day Adventist, I don't know about. I just don't know about."

On Sunday, Carson was given the opportunity to respond on Fox News, but said "I really refuse to really get into the mud pit with Trump."

science is not a collection of truths. It is a continuing exploration of mysteries.... Our planet is covered by continents and oceans whose origin we cannot explain.... The origin of life is a total mystery, and so is the existence of human consciousness."

Health Note - Meat WARNING

  1. Consumption of processed meat — including hot dogs, bacon, and lunch meats — can increase the risk of cancer, according to a new statement from a WHO research agency.
  2. The group also announced that eating unprocessed red meat,
such as beef or lamb, can "probably" cause
cancer, although the evidence here was less convincing.
  3. This is the direst warning on meat yet, although other major health organizations had previously recommended that Americans cut down on their meat consumption.
  4. The evidence mostly relates to colorectal cancer and heavy meat consumption, but while the overall cancer risk is small, it increases depending on the amount of meat a person eats.  msn

All The Rivers Run Into The Sea

All the rivers run into the sea;
yet the sea is not full;
unto the place from whence the rivers come,
thither they return again.
 Ecclesiastes 1:7

"Everything sublunary is on the move,
time knows nothing of rest.
The solid earth is a rolling ball,...
Tides move the sea,
winds stir the airy ocean,
friction wears the rock:
 change and death rule everywhere.
Men are born but to die:
everything is hurry, worry, and vexation of spirit.
Father Ocean is a great receiver, but he is a generous distributor. What the rivers bring him he returns to the earth in the form of clouds and rain. That man is out of joint with the universe who takes all but makes no return.
To give to others is but sowing seed for ourselves. Friend of Jesus, art thou rendering to Him according to the benefit received? Much has been given thee, what is thy fruit?
Suppose the ocean gave up none of its watery treasure, it would bring ruin upon our race."

{Sons of Israel, hear ye the word which the Lord spake on you, and on all the kindred, which I led out of the land of Egypt, and said,} Wycliffe's Bible

Israel is a family that God brought up out of the land of Egypt,
Against the whole family - That is, all, both the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. In this all the twelve tribes are included.

Creation Moment 10/28/2015 - Christ & The Father Vs. Theological Liberals

"Jesus clearly believed Genesis as history.
For example, He referred to marriage at “the beginning of creation” , and to the global flood of Noah.
This is a problem for those who profess to be Christian (to follow Christ) yet do not believe Genesis as Jesus did.

One errant ‘solution’ put forward is that Jesus was mistaken; that He did not have the benefit of modern evolutionary ‘science’ and so was ignorant of the reality that we now ‘know’; that ‘creation’ began billions of years ago and there was never a global Flood. That is, Jesus was just reflecting His limited knowledge of the past events and the cultural ignorance of His day.
This view is sometimes justified by referring to Jesus saying that He did not know when certain future events would happen. That is, they generalize Jesus’ stated voluntary, specific limitation regarding future events to knowledge of past events that Jesus witnessed.
This deficient view of Jesus often comes with the kenotic heresy’, which teaches that Jesus emptied himself of his divinity, which is clearly wrong.

The Bible clearly tells us that Jesus was present at creation; that creation happened through/by Him, so He can hardly have been ignorant of the details, including the timeframe.

Furthermore, in His earthly ministry, Jesus said that He only spoke what the Father told him to speak:
The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me. John 12:48-50
So if Jesus only spoke what the Father told him to speak, and if Jesus was mistaken about anything, then so was the Heavenly Father." CreationRevolution

Book Review: The Judgment: It's Events & Their Order by J.N. Andrews

(short) Book Review: A book that may be of some interest....
(Review by Teach Services)

The Judgment: It's Events & Their Order
by J.N. Andrews
 Publisher:Teach Services 132 pages

"John Nevins Andrews in the late 1800s released this classic study on The Judgment, outlining its events and their order. This work covers the following points:
"The Investigative Judgment,"
"Examination of the Books,"
"God the Father the Judge,"
"Offices of Christ,"
"Messages to the World,"
"The Sanctuary in Heaven,"
"The Crowning of Christ,
"The Executive Judgment," and
"The Saints Sitting in Judgment."
Andrews clearly explains and disproves many long-held misbeliefs about God's work to remove sin from His people. His greatest desire was to explain Christian beliefs from the scriptures in a logical and easily understandable manner."

And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.
KJV

{and a strong man of heart shall flee naked among strong men in that day, saith the Lord.} Wycliffe's Bible

Shall flee away naked - In some cases the alarm shall be in the night; and even the most heroic shall start from his bed, and through terror not wait to put on his clothes.
It will be in vain to think of fighting it out. God is at war with them; and are they stronger than he? Is there any military force that can pretend to be a match for Omnipotence?

Creation Moment 10/27/2015 - Mentally ill????

"Atheist biologist Richard Dawkins decried the fact that some Republican presidential candidates are creationists, calling it “disgraceful” and proclaiming that evolution is a “fact” that “you can not seriously disbelieve,” in an interview with Fox News’ Alan Colmes this week.
Dawkins repeatedly waded into controversial territory throughout the exchange, with Colmes at one point asking if the biologist believes that religious people are “mentally ill.”
It’s hard to use the word ‘mentally ill’ when there are so many of them,” Dawkins responded. If they believed what they did and they were the only one they would undoubtedly be called mentally ill. TheBlaze

J.N. Andrews on the Investigative Judgment

"The INVESTIGATIVE JUDGMENT
"I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and
the wicked; for there is a time there for every purpose and
for every work." Eccl. 3:17. p. 5, Para. 3,

THE judgment of the great day is an event certain to take
place. "He hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge
the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath
ordained." Acts 17:31. What God hath appointed is sure to
come in due time.

The resurrection of Christ is an
assurance to all men of the final judgment.
It is not the fact of the judgment, however,
but the order of its work,
that at this time engages our attention.
The work to be accomplished is of immense magnitude.

The judgment relates
(1) to all the righteous;
 (2) to all the wicked;
 (3) to all the evil angels.

The number of cases, therefore, to be
acted upon at this grand tribunal exceeds our powers of
conception. We must not, however, suppose that there will
be any difficulty on the part of the Judge in acting upon
every case individually.

"Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and
if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to
judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge
angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?"
1 Cor. 6:2, 3.

The trump of God sounds as the Savior descends from
heaven. When that trump is heard, all the righteous are, in
the twinkling of an eye, changed to immortality. There can
be no examination after this to determine whether they
shall be counted worthy of eternal life, for they will then
have already laid hold upon it. From this it follows that
the examination and decision of the cases of the righteous
takes place before the advent of Christ.

The saints alone are to be caught up
to meet Christ in the air. 1 Thess. 4:17. But the decision
who these saints are, who shall thus be caught up, rests
not with the angels who execute the work, but with the
Judge, who gives them their commission."

Sunday Keepers... Thomas said....

To our Protestant friends who make excuses to keep Sunday instead of Sabbath, but insist they don't keep Sunday because of Papal Rome...let it be pointed out.
BEFORE the Reformation began in the 1500's,(giving birth to Protestantism) the Catholic Church was ON RECORD bragging about changing from the Sabbath to Sunday worship---not by Scriptural authority---but by it's own authority.
Read here what their most famous theologian wrote in the Summa Theologica (by Thomas Aquinas) WRITTEN 1265-1274.....

"In the New Law the observance of the Lord's day took the place of the observance of the Sabbath,
not by virtue of the precept but by the institution of the Church and the custom of Christian people. For this observance is not figurative, as was the observance of the Sabbath in the Old Law. Hence the prohibition to work on the Lord' day is not so strict as on the Sabbath:"

In the Summa Theologica under question 122 in the section entitled "Whether the third precept of the decalogue, concerning the hallowing of the Sabbath, is fittingly expressed?"... in reply to objection 4.

Oh & Remember about that Little Horn power.... And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws:

Q: What Law of God deals with time?

Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself: KJV

{And flight shall perish from a swift man, and a strong man shall not hold his strength, and a stalworthy man shall not save his life;} Wycliffes Bible

The flight shall perish from the swift - The swiftest shall not be able to save himself from a swifter destruction. None, by might, by counsel, or by fleetness, shall be able to escape from the impending ruin. In a word, God has so fully determined to avenge the quarrel of his broken covenant, that all attempts to escape from his judgments shall be useless.

Creation Moment 10/25/2015 - Yeager Beat by Apatosaurus

Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee;....He moveth his tail like a cedar:
Job 40:15,17
"When an Apatosaurus dinosaur slapped its impressively long tail onto the ground, other beasts likely listened. Turns out, the long-necked dino may have broken the sound barrier with its tail whips....
Paleontologists have all but gone back in time to prove the sonic booms, by creating and test-slapping a model tail made of aluminum, stainless steel, neoprene and Teflon.
The 12-foot-long (3.6 meters) model is just one-quarter the size of a sauropod tail, but it's still able to
produce the distinctive crack that indicates it can break the sound barrier when whipped around...
"It is, of course, impossible to create a real tail out of flesh and blood," Myhrvold told Live Science. "But this model's every single bone — there's 82 bones in the tail. It has the correct dimensions, it has the correct joint angles and then each [vertebra] has weights on it to simulate the weight of the flesh."
If the model is true, it means "Chuck Yeager was not necessarily the first resident of Earth to go faster than sound," Myhrvold said.
Apatosaurus, and other sauropod dinosaurs with incredibly long tails, may have supersonically whipped their tails for purposes of defense, communication, same-species rivalry or courtship, Myhrvold said." LiveScience

That Enchanted Ground of Sleep

Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
 Luke 22:46

"When is the Christian most liable to sleep?
Is it not when his temporal circumstances are prosperous?
  Easy roads make sleepy travellers.

Another dangerous time is when all goes pleasantly in spiritual matters.

Christian went not to sleep when lions were in the way,

or when he was wading through the river,
or when fighting with Apollyon,
but when he had climbed half way up the Hill Difficulty,
and came to a delightful arbor,
he sat down,
and forthwith fell asleep, to his great sorrow and loss.

The enchanted ground is a place of balmy breezes
laden with fragrant odors and soft influences
all tending to lull pilgrims to sleep.

Old Erskine wisely remarked, "I like a roaring devil better than a sleeping devil." There is no temptation half so dangerous as not being tempted. The distressed soul does not sleep;...The disciples fell asleep after they had seen Jesus transfigured on the mountain top.... be as happy as you will, only be watchful."

Christ on the Flood

"The first thousand years of earth’s history are vital to events predicted to occur during our own time
(the literal time of the end—see Daniel 11:40-12:13). Jesus reaches deep into the Book of Genesis, the beginning of earthly time, to make a comparison between the days of Noah and the days of his own second coming.

* Jesus says, “’As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man’” (New International Version, Matt. 24:37). Jesus goes on to provide details about those days. “’For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man’” (English Standard Version, Matt. 24:38).

* The story of the Flood, coming in Genesis 6-8, is as plain as today’s newspaper. Every reader can understand the nature of eating and drinking and marrying. Nothing is more common in human history than these activities.

* If the events of the Flood were not literal, it would be pointless to use the Flood as a warning. Readers would be unable to imagine the reality and utter shock of the second coming without some knowable thing for comparison" ADVindicate/MarcusSheffield

AMOS Analysis 2:13

Walk through Amos, verse by verse, with the great Bible Commentaries of Matthew Henry (1662 - 1714) & Adam Clarke (1760 - 1832)

2:13

Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves. KJV

{Lo! I shall creak under you, as a wain charged with hay creaketh.}Wycliffe's Bible

Behold, I am pressed under you - The marginal reading is better: "Behold, I will press your place, as a cart full of sheaves presseth." I will bring over you the wheel of destruction; and it shall grind your place - your city and temple, as the wheel of a cart laden with sheaves presses down the ground, gravel, and stones over which it rolls.

I am pressed under you and the load of your sins as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves, is loaded with corn, in the midst of the joy of harvest, as long as any will lie on.” Note, The great God complains of sin, especially the sins of his professing people, as a burden to him.

Creation Moment 10/24/2015 - Harvard pushing Panspermia?

...but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.
Proverbs 12:23

"Panspermia is back: According to PhysOrg, noted Harvard astronomer Avi Loeb is seriously considering panspermia again. Problem is: life has to evolve somewhere else before it can “spread around the universe” as his fictional scenario proposes:
It is possible for life to be carried by rocks which are ejected from one planet, after an impact by an asteroid, and land on another planet. This can happen by chance if the two planets are in the same planetary system or, with smaller likelihood, if they are in different systems. Although this process is possible, we have no evidence for it,” said Abraham Loeb, chair of the Department of Astronomy at the Harvard University, in an interview with Phys.org.
Lots of things are possible but lacking in evidence. If a pig had wings, it could fly."

The Disconnect

Those who hide behind the guise of "My God is Love" therefore nothing is to be judged...nothing is really out of bounds for the Christian.....Seem to have a DISCONNECT between Love & the Law....

John tells us how Love & the Law go hand in hand-
By this we know that we love the children of God,
when we love God,
and keep his commandments.
1 John 5:2
So does Christ-
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John 14:15

IN the NEWS - RICO Laws & Mark of the Beast?

Below is a news item about the secular left wanting to use RICO Laws for organized crime, to go after & silence those who disagree with man made "climate change".
NOW---picture Christians, who would be trying to appease an "angry Father God" to mandate Sunday observance of somekind during a time of trouble---joined by secular & non-Christian forces who agree in setting aside a day for the planet to "rest" (as called for in the Papal Encyclical issued by Pope Francis) in order to appease an "angry mother earth".

"One group is willing to persecute because they think they are doing God's will....joined by those who think they are saving the planet. The 2 sides join forces to implement the mark globally & by FORCE......the day is coming....

"What irony. The latest attack on fellow scientists was launched by academics from a university named for the patriot who wrote the original Virginia version of our Bill of Rights. Those rights include freedom of speech and assembly, the right to petition our government, and protection from unreasonable search and seizure of our property.
Sadly, it reflects the appalling state of “academic freedom” on too many campuses, which today celebrate every kind of diversity except diversity of opinion.

Jagadish Shukla, four associates at his George Mason University-based Institute of Global Environment and Society, and 15 other climate researchers have signed an outrageous letter, asking President Obama and Attorney General Loretta Lynch to investigate “organizations that have knowingly deceived the American people about the risks of climate change.

They want people like me and the groups I work with prosecuted and punished under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
The letter claims the organizations’ “misdeeds” must be “stopped as soon as possible,” so that the world can “restabilize the Earth’s climate, before even more lasting damage is done” to human health, agriculture, biodiversity and the world’s poorest people.

Their action attempts to coerce, intimidate, slander and silence organizations and scientists who question claims that humans are causing dangerous climate change; shut down skeptic research, speech and publication; destroy skeptics’ funding, businesses and livelihoods; protect alarmist funding, standing and influence; and bankrupt skeptics, who would have to spend personal fortunes responding to a Justice Department that has limitless resources at its disposal.
RICO is used to prosecute underlying patterns or practices of criminal behavior. It defies belief to say questioning claims that humans are causing climate cataclysms — or opposing campaigns against anti-fossil fuels, modern living standards and better lives for billions of impoverished people worldwide — somehow constitutes a “criminal enterprise.”

Moreover, the “misdeeds” alluded to in the RICO-20 letter are studies, reports and discussions that contradict alarmist allegations and what cataclysm skeptics believe are exaggerations and computer model failures underlying those claims." WashingtonTimes
