Creation Moment 9/26/2015 - Planetary Uniqueness Series: Top 10 (GJ 1214b) -Waterworld-

 GJ 1214b  -Waterworld-

"47 light years away from Earth, this planet is completely
covered by water. A never ending ocean that spans the entire planet from end to end. What’s even stranger about this planet it’s what’s underneath.
Liquid water goes on down for miles until eventually it hits the planet’s core which is made out of ice. This ice isn’t there because of the cold temperature, but because of the extreme pressures exercised from above. This type of ice is known in the scientific world as Ice VII." GN
