PHILADELPHIA

I am Alpha and Omega,
the first and the last:
and, What thou seest, write in a book,
and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia;
unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira,
and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write;
Revelation 1:11/3:7

Interesting, that in the history of the 7 churches (church history unfolding in phases through history) that the 6th church, that of Philadelphia is so named.
Independence Hall in Philadelphia-the first capitol of the U.S.
This phase takes place right before the end of the 2300 days/years in 1844. Generally it covers the revivals of the 1700's & early 1800's, such as the 1st & 2nd great awakenings that gripped colonial America, the rapid spread of Methodism and it's focus on revival of sanctification as well as culminating in the Millerite movement.
***Notice, this phase of the apex of Christian history shifted to the shores of America, and the first capitol of the new nation was-----you guessed it---PHILADELPHIA...
Interesting.....
