Creation Moment 6/6/2015 - Colors & the Brain

 I will give thanks unto thee;
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
Wonderful are thy works;
Psalm 139:14 ASV
"A new study finds that while the human brain can distinguish between millions of colors, it has difficulty remembering specific shades.

For example, most people can easily tell the difference between azure, navy and ultramarine, but when it comes to remembering these shades, people tend to label them all as blue, the study found.
Many cultures have the same color words or categories, said Jonathan Flombaum, a cognitive psychologist at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore." LiveScience
So in other words, the brain is able to differentiate between MILLIONS of colors, yet is also able to organize in categories...probably for simplicity. And it seems to be the same categories for humans worldwide.

Where were white, green, and blue, hangings, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble: the beds were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of red, and blue, and white, and black, marble .
