How does theistic evolution (the idea of macro-evolution being used as a creative process by God) result in BLASPHEMY?
Think about it...
1- Limits the Power-of-God (by denying Him the power to create ex-nihilo)
2- Limits His knowledge as God (makes Him appear not to have the intelligence for ex-nihilo)
3- Makes Him look unconcerned about millions-of-years of pain, suffering & death (in the fossil record)
4- Makes Christ & the New Testament writers to be liars (for they took creation literal)
Moses, a type for Christ, could have put these words directly into Christ's mouth when He walked the earth--- For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; Deuteronomy 29:31... As a side note-interesting that the book most quoted by Christ was Deuteronomy.
