"Scientists have unearthed the jawbone of what they claim is one of the very first humans.

The 2.8 million-year-old specimen is 400,000 years older than researchers thought that our kind first emerged.
The discovery in Ethiopia suggests climate change spurred the transition from tree dweller to upright walker.

The head of the research team told BBC News that the find gives the first insight into "the most important transitions in human evolution".
But the fossil record between the time period when Lucy and her kin were alive and the emergence of Homo erectus (with its relatively large brain and humanlike body proportions) two million years ago is sparse.
The 2.8 million-year-old lower jawbone was found in the Ledi-Geraru research area, Afar Regional State, by Ethiopian student Chalachew Seyoum. He told BBC News that he was "stunned" when he saw the fossil.
"The moment I found it, I realised that it was important, as this is the time period represented by few (human) fossils in Eastern Africa." BBC

COMMENTARY:
@ What we have here is a jawbone of something...CLAIMED  to be of the first humans....which if macro-evolution were true, there would still be NO WAY to know if that was of the first humans.
@ Also, does anyone think that bones, on the earth surface, would last 2 million years? Or that they would be there to be found?
@ Another thing---ask one of these evolutionists what the mathematical probability is that humans have really been here for 2 million years...because IF you assume just 1 million, then calculate with a low reproduction rate....you would have more humans that have lived than atoms in the universe-which is 10⁸⁰(Known as the Eddington Number)..SO WHERE ARE ALL THESE BONES?
@ Notice their origins myth is tied to their GREEN Religon--as they bring in "climate change" into the mix....
@ IF 2 million years of humans---then WHY a "SPARSE" fossil record?

All that from a jawbone of something? The re-writing of human histories timeline, that "climate change" is responsible for transitioning from tree dweller to walking upright, and it is one of the "first" humans....All that from a jawbone of something?...LOL...And the media take these people serious????
