The Real Pain

"...even pleasure ultimately leaves us empty. I read the biography of Oscar Wilde....I was repeatedly surprised by the protracted passages of despair that came from the heart and the pen of a man so completely devoted to the pursuit of pleasure.

 That is real pain
No death,
no tragedy,
no atrocity - nothing really matters.
Life is sheer hallowness with no purpose."
The End of Reason p.40,41 Ravi Zacharias
Come unto me,
all ye that labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
