Calendar of Redemption: Feast of Weeks/ Pentecost (Shavuot)

Calendar of Redemption

Before the Cross-

Concerning the feasts of the LORD,...   an holy convocation;
ye shall do no work therein:
it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
These are the feasts of the LORD,
even holy convocations,
which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
Leviticus 23:4,5

Since the Cross-

Let no man therefore judge you in meat,
or in drink,
or in respect of an holyday,
or of the new moon,
or of the sabbath days:
These are
a shadow of the things that were to come;
the reality, however, is found in Christ.
Colossians 2:16,17 NIV
--Pentecost--
6 Sivan (May/June)

Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.

And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus 23:16,22

SANCTUARY:
As on the day of Pentecost fulfilled in Acts, the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples to evangelize & fill the world. This would be both representative of the 7 branch candlestick, as God's people became a light unto the world as well as the brazen laver which represents baptism as they were baptized by the Spirit that day.
NOTES:
Pentecost means "50" in Greek since it occurred 50 days from the last 3 feasts.

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come,

they were all with one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven
as of a rushing mighty wind,
and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them
cloven tongues like as of fire,
and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost,
and began to speak with other tongues,
as the Spirit gave them utterance.
And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews,
devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
Now when this was noised abroad,
the multitude came together,
and were confounded,
because that every man heard them
speak in his own language.
Acts 2:1-6
