The Romans or Jewish leaders of the day could have DESTROYED Christianity in its infancy....
Instead we are left with the absurd notion that the peasant disciples hid while they could have saved Him, then became tough guys after the execution and overpowered a 100 man Roman guard unit only to have 11 of them die a martyrs death over a dead corpse through the years.
