No meal offering, which you shall offer to the LORD, shall be made with yeast; for you shall burn no yeast, nor any honey, as an offering made by fire to the LORD.

No meal offering could be made with leaven or honey. The reason was because leaven represents sin and honey is thought to be that which is pleasant to the senses.BUT, leaven & honey was brought as part of the first fruit offering. WHY? Because when you first come to God, He invites you to come with all your sinful tendencies and lay them on the altar before Him.
