Papal Notes - Syria & the Swiss Guard?

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:
see that ye be not troubled:
for all these things must come to pass,
but the end is not yet.
Matthew 24:6

The war drums are beating for intervention in Syria, fueled mostly by Britain, France and the "anti-war" President of the United States. The gassing of children by Assad is terrible, yet the rebels in Syria are just as bad. Of the 9 rebel groups-7 of them openly support Al-Qeada. Also, the rebel groups have been killing and threatening Christians (which are 10% of Syria). Many have fled.
So why are western governments seeking ways to intervene here on the side of the rebels? Assad is evil. The rebels are not any better......

Also, the Pope weighed in.... "Pope Francis says he has been disturbed by "terrible images" of atrocities occurring in Syria, and he is urging the international community to step up its efforts to end the civil war there." ABCnews...... well maybe the Pope should send in his Swiss Guard, just saying...
