Since the original Bible wasn't divided into chapters & verses-how did that come about?
Stephen Langton gave us the chapter divisions during the 13th century.
The Old Testament was further divided into verses by the Rabbi Isaac Nathan c. 1440.
The New Testament was divided into verses by Robert Stephanus in the 1550's.
