Tyndale: Immortal last words

Tyndale was a reformer in England who translated much of the Old Testament into English.
When he was caught, he was later strangled and burned. His famous last words were - "Lord, open the King of England's eyes."

Henry VIII was the king at he time. Although he was not a good man, he was used to bring about the break of England with the Papacy. The Church of England was born, in America it is called the Episcopalian Church. Other former British lands it is called the Anglican Church.
