IN the NEWS - George Beverly Shea dies

George Beverly Shea (1909-2013) died following a stroke on 4/16/2013. The Canadian born singer was the first well known national Gospel singer. His claim to fame is that he was the performer for many of the early Billy Graham crusades.
From 1944-1952 he also sang for the Sunday night Billy Graham radio program Songs in the Night.
Mr. Shea was 104.
