IN the NEWS - The Next Pope? Hmmm...

Who will be the next head of the entity known as the Little Horn of Daniel (And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, Daniel 8:9)& the Beast of Revelation (And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. Revelation 13:12) ? Hmmm....

Maradiaga would like to head the Little Horn entity
Will it be a North American for the first time? Possibly Cardinal Dolan form the U.S.? Some say No because of anti-Americanism. Will it be Cardinal Marc Ouellet of Canada? Some say No because of his allowing the secularisation of the Church in Canada too much.
Will it be a minority? Perhaps a black Pope from Africa such as Cardinal Peter Turkson? Some now say No since he has dropped from early front runner to near the bottom of the list because of his aggressive self promotion for the post. Or how about Cardinal Luis Tagle of the Philippines? Some say he may be a bit too new to the group of cardinals an a bit too young (a sprite 55) by their standards.

Tagle of the Philippines would like
to lead the Little Horn entity
Then from Latin America there is the Guatamalen Cardinal Oscar Morales-but he has been pushing too hard in public for a "Non-European" Pope. Or Brazilian ArchBishops Odilo Scherer or João Braz de Aviz? Or the Mexican Rivera Carrera? Or the Honduran Rodriguez Maradiaga who is buddies with secular rock star Bono? But his "Bono" connection raises the question as to whether as a Church leader he would stay on focus or try to boost his personal favorables with the world. Then there is Argentine Cardinal Leonardo Sandri. Hmmm....

Sepe
But if the next Pope will be a European, how 'bout the Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone? Maybe too close for comfort to the current disaray within the Vatican.... Or the Italian Crescenzio Sepe-who is a European yet not too corrupt, but probably enough and doesn't have any "rock star" appeal like Pope John Paul II did. Sepe seems like an old fashioned kind of Papal contender.
But who knows? And does anyone really care? Well it's gonna be somebody...
Turkson the self promoter who went from
front runner to the near bottom

Sandri of Argentina
