SS Lesson run amuck in 2006

The Godhead (or Trinity) are 3 who work together as one in unison-in other words, we would say today-they are all 3 on the "same page"...The Catholic view (and as such, the view of many Protestants) is one God with the Son & Spirit constantly flowing out from the Father.
In reference to the representation of the Trinity (Godhead) with triangles, etc....E.G.W. made the following comments......

All these spiritualistic representations are simply nothingness. They are imperfect, untrue. They weaken and diminish the Majesty which no earthly likeness can be compared to. God can not be compared with the things His hands have made. These are mere earthly things, suffering under the curse of God because of the sins of man. The Father can not be described by the things of earth. The Father is all the fulness of the Godhead bodily, and is invisible to mortal sight.” Special Testimonies, Series B, No. 7, page 62 ‘Come out and be separate’ E.G.W.

Psychobabbel creeping into our SDA Church on the topic-Exhibit A:
from 2006 Sabbath School Lesson

“What analogies—such as a triangle or a three-pronged fork — can help someone understand the idea of how one God can be composed of three equal Persons?” The Seventh-day Adventist Lesson quarterly, 2nd quarter 2006 Sunday March 26th page 7

Not One Being of 3 equal persons/parts-rather 3 seperate beings
And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Genesis 3:22
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:1,2
SDA OFFICIAL POSTION published in the FUNDAMENTALS of our beliefs (#2)
"There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension, yet known through His self-revelation."

* Whoever wrote that statement in the 2006 SS Lesson about the Trinity/Godhead & a "three pronged fork" doesn't seem to understand the Scriptures, SOP, or official Church position published in the Fundamentals on the topic. Their view is the same as that of the Roman Catholic Church.
