Zechariah:- 4 Horses Prophecy (SDA)

    The 4 Horses of the prophecy of Zechariah
is a condensed version of the history of the 7 churches
found in Revelation

And I turned , and lifted up mine eyes, and looked , and, behold,
there came four chariots out from between two mountains;
and the mountains were mountains of brass.
Zechariah 6:1
Some believe the 2 mountains are the feet of Christ, who had feet like brass in Revelation. Some say the 2 mountains represent His people. Also, these are thought to be the history of the Christian church between the 1st and last outpouring of Pentecost. (As the church began-it will end).

In the first chariot were red horses;
Zechariah 6:2
The red of the early church and the martyrdom it suffered excessively.

and in the second chariot black horses;
Zechariah 6:2
The black era of the rise a the Papal authority over Christiandom.

And in the third chariot white horses;
Zechariah 6:3
Some say the white horses represent the Millerite movement, as many dug into their Bibles from many different churches looking for truth. Or, one could extend it from the Reformation to the Millerite movement as a "white" time to contrast with the previous "black" time of darkness in Christianity of Papal Roman dominance. Either way-same concept.

and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.
Zechariah 6:3
The 4th chariot would represent His last church movement before the end times-the SDA church of Laodicea. These horses are mixed-the "bay" are strong and the "grisled" are weak as they seperate.

Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
And the angel answered and said unto me,
These are the four spirits of the heavens,
which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
Zechariah 6:4,5
Similar to the detail of the 7 spirits of the 7 churches of revelation.

The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country;
Zechariah 6:6
The black go north into what would be spiritual Babylon.

and the white go forthafter them;
Zechariah 6:6
These white horses follow them north-for they attempt to purify along the way the path of the black horses (reformation-Millerite movement and/or the Millerite movement).

and the grisled go forth toward the south country.
Zechariah 6:6
Here the Bay & Grisled seperate although they are pulling the same chariot of people--the grisled head south--into spiritual Egypt-the world....this would be those in the church pulling the church towards the ways of the world (evolution, women ordination for PC reasons, dividing congregations between so-called celebration services & the traditional services, ecumenicalism, emergent church growth techniques, etc.).

And the bay went forth ,
and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth:
and he said , Get you hence , walk to and fro through the earth.
So they walked to and fro through the earth.
Zechariah 6:7
The bay keep focused on the 3 angels message... having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Revelation 14:6

Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying ,
Behold ,
these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
Zechariah 6:8
Why have those of the Bay Horses helped His spirit when, as they went through the whole earth to & fro, also entered the north country? Think what message is to be given one last time to "Babylon" in the end... And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, Revelation 18:4

Then take silver and gold, and makecrowns,
and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech,
the high priest;
And speak unto him, saying , Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying ,
Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH;
and he shall grow up out of his place,
and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
Even he shall build the temple of the LORD;
and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne;
Zechariah 6:11-13
Afterward the High Priest (Christ) will be crowned King.

I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse,
and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom;

and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.

Then said I, O my lord, what are these?
And the angel that talked with me said unto me,
I will shew thee what these be.

And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said ,
These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said ,
We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold,
all the earth sitteth still , and is at rest .
Zechariah 1:8-11
Notice the black horses are missing. Also, the speaker Himself sits upon a red horse-Christ Himself was also martyred.
