SDA Missionary:David Delhove

Gitwe Mission
Belgian born David Delhove (1882-1949) was an SDA missionary to Africa. He himself was converted while growing up in Belgium by a tract an uncle in America sent him. He was drafted into the Belgian Army during WW 1.
The mission school he founded at Gitwe (1921) still exists in Rwanda. He spent his last years in the Congo.
It is said, as Pastor Delhove was in the process of dying from a heart attack, he spent his last moments attempting to convert the native African orderly who was helping him.
His lord said unto him,
Well done,
good and faithful servant;
