The Post-Modern TOWER of BABEL

The charismatic movement has become the post-modern Tower of Babel.

@ From L.A. & Kansas during the 1st charismatic wave at the turn of the 20th century
@ 2nd wave during the 60's & 70's infiltrating mainline protestant churches & catholicism
@ 3rd wave beginning in the 80's with celebration services entering evangelical churches
"Tongues" in the Bible was Foriegn Languages to do missionary work-NOT the counterfeit
gibberish you hear today, sometimes involving twitching, shouting and other unholy carrying on
World Revival Church an EXAMPLE
of "Noise" in the camp of Christiandom
Both the loud noise of their music styles and/or the confusion of their gibberish tongues speaking is a reminder of Babel. And what of this loud noise during their worship services? - And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp. And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear. And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
Exodus 32:17-19

The spirit of a counterfeit, sort of like the counterfeit "god"/golden calf---in this case counterfeit gift of the Spirit.
