King Jehu in Assyrian Records

Thought to be King Jehu or his
ambassador bowing to Shalmaneser III
of Assyria
An Assyrian obelisk of Shalmaneser III contains info on King Jehu of Israel. It says - “The tribute of Jehu, son of Omri: I received from him silver, gold, a golden bowl, a golden vase with pointed bottom, golden tumblers, golden buckets, tin, a staff for a king [and] spears."
Evidence of the Biblical Kings

But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.
