Creation Moment 8/13/2012 - Caves point to a young earth

The formation of stalacites on the ceiling of caves, and of stalagmites on the floors of caves, cause a problem for those who hold to an old age for the earth. The belief is that they formed over maybe a hundred thousand years or so during the ice age from slowly dripping water. But all testing shows a much younger age of a few thousand years. Although much of the dating techniques are unreliable for absolutes--the point is their dating methods don't match their theory.
We do know that areas of limestone over caves change in a very short time. Could it be that the stalagmites & stalacites of caves formed in a relatively short time frame? Besides-who really believes that drops of water slowly ponded the ground of caves for over a hundred thousand years in the SAME SPOT to form each stalagmite?
To dwell in the clifts of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.
