How is it, that if we evolved that when the first vreatures (like us) evolved to need the nutrients found in the ground, that there just happened to be "plants' that evolved to reach down deep, pull up the nutrients & minerals-and turn them into something edible for the vreatures that happened to need them? Then- as these creatures are evolving (to us) they "evolve" the ability to have different preferences in taste. So say, for citrus, if you don't like grapefruit-there are oranges, limes, tangerines and lemons. Hmmmm...
