Beauty in the Symmetry of the Simplicity of His Word #2

In Exodus we are told to keep the Sabbath because of Creation. In Deuteronomy Moses explained the Law to the people and added it was because God delivered them from Egypt. Someone once tried to tell me the Bible was contradicting itself.
But look closer-the Bible is a Chain-of-Truth. We are to keep the Sabbath because He is both Creator & Redeemer who delivered us from the bondage of the slavery of sin in Egypt (the world).
At the end of Creation He rested on the 7th day and made it a Holy day. At the end of his work on the cross as our Redeemer- He again rested on the Sabbath in the grave. The Bible does not contradict itself-
He is both Creator & Redeemer. But we also keep Sabbath because - If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15
Sabbath....CREATOR+REDEEMER=LOVE
