Layer Cake:
The many layers of geological starta that one sees-
They are not always top-down, sometimes they are laid down Left-Right
It would take a massive water flow to produce most layer cakes
The heavier grains drop out and when the water slows & curls back, the finer grains remain mobile and end up resting on the harder grains
And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills,
that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
