Transfiguration

And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. Mark 9:2
And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. Luke 9:29
And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. Mark 9:3
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Matthew 17:3
Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem. But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. Luke 9:31,32
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. Matthew 17:4 For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid. Mark 9:6
While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. Luke 9:34
And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. Mark 9:7
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. Matthew 17:6
And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. Mark 9:8
And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. Matthew 17:9

Here, at the Transfiguartion-Moses represents to us those who have tasted of death but will be ressurected at the end. ( For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4:16 ) Moses is the only human to be ressurected to Heaven before Christ- Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. Jude 9 Elijah represents those of us who are alive and remain at the end who will never taste of death. ( Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 ) For Elijah never died - And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 2 Kings 2:11
