Thieves on the Cross & Us

And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. Mark 15:27 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. John 19:18 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. Luke 23:39-42

The thieves on the cross represent the two classes of people in the world:Saved and Lost

1)Both were guilty 2) Both could do nothing to save themselves 3) Both had the same opportunity to be saved ---- I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: Galatians 2:20
