Ministry, Medical Work & the 3 Angel's Message

Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward. Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. ...And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday: Isaiah 58:7-10

"The union that should exist between the medical missionary work and the ministry is clearly set forth in the 58th chapter of Isaiah. ...this chapter is explicit and there is enough to enlighten anyone who wishes to do the will of God. It presents abundent opportunity to minister to suffering humanity, and at the same time to be an instrument in God's hands of bringing the light of truth before a perishing world. If the work of the third angel's message is carried on in the right lines, the ministry will not be given inferior place, nor will the poor and sick be neglected. In His word God has united these two lines of work, and no man should divorce them." Testimonies for the Church vol.6, p.289,290 E.G.W.
