Creation Moment 12/16/2011 - Atmosphere

Earth has the right mixture of oxygen & nitrogen in the air for life on the planet. The atmosphere protects the earth from ultraviolet solar radiation. The gases that form the earth's atmosphere are held in check by the gravity of earth. There are several layers, each with a distinct function. The troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere & exosphere. In nature, trees convert carbon dioxide into oxygen through photosynthesis which in turn is released and floats to the upper atmosphere to join a nitrogen atom which then falls back toward earth as breathable air. Another fine design by the hand of the Creator for His creation. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. Genesis 1:7
