About 35 marsupials were recently found fossilized in South America from rapid burial. Included in the area were fossils of snakes, lizards and intact crocadile eggs. This flies in the face of evolutionary thinking which claims all marsupials "evolved" from a common ancestor in Australia. The marsupials recently found in South America are the same.
